Two Iranian short animations have been set to go on screen at the 2017 edition of the Celtic Animation Film Festival in Scotland.
Hajar Mehrani’s ‘Dash Akol’ and ‘Nobody’ directed by Elham Toroqi will vie at the competition section of the festival.
‘Nobody’ is a cinematographic jewel with a sad story, for precise elaborated views of cinematic means of expression, component with brilliant hand-drawn animation. A bitter sweet story about never giving up.
‘Dash Akol’ is an adaptation of a story written by late Iranian author Sadeq Hedayat.
Celtic Animation Film Festival provides a platform for established animators of Celtic heritage and emerging Celtic animators from around the world.
This edition of the festival is to be held on October 19-29, 2017.
